Wendy Wurtzburger is a creative business leader, lifestyle visionary and accomplished retail veteran. Prior to launching Until Soon, Wendy was Chief Merchandising and Design Officer and Global Co-President of Anthropologie. In her 15 years with the company, Anthropologie grew from less than $100 million and 13 stores to a billion dollar, multi-channel business with close to 200 stores. Wendy’s leadership positioned and fueled digital and retail growth, record profits, new concepts and international expansion.
In 2013 Wendy stepped away from Anthropologie to build her own business, establishing Wendy Wurtzburger Consulting, a retail and brand consulting firm. She also founded Roar + Rabbit, a home products company whose clients include West Elm. With Until Soon, Wendy applies her unique point of view and broad understanding of the market to the luxury knitwear category. In the process she has realized her passion – making great design original, timely and accessible.
Michelle Gondolini has spent 20 years as an industry leader in knitwear production. She has produced knitwear for Anthropologie for 18 years, meeting Wendy along the way and forming a bond that led to the formation of Until Soon. Michelle’s clients have included Neiman Marcus, Theory, Ann Taylor, Urban Outfitters, Chico’s, ModCloth and Target, but Until Soon is a personal project fueled by passion as well as expertise.
With her deep appreciation for artisanal crafts and knowledge of the industry, Michelle is adept at determining the styling, yarns and techniques best suited for clients ranging from small designer brands to mass market stores. Creative, innovative and especially gifted at turning design visions into a successful reality, Michelle has long envisioned creating her own line of luxury knitwear that would reflect her love for quality sophisticated fashion and fine details.
